A Man Shot Dead in Penge Outside Park
A man in his thirties was shot in the southeast of London and launched a police murder investigation.
The incident occurred near Croydon Road in Penge early Sunday morning. Metropolitan Police officers asked the witnesses to stand out. He has not been arrested yet.
The scene is believed to be next to the Miter Pub at the entrance of Betts Park.
The investigation of the investigative force investigated by the specialist crime, and the results of the post-mortem examination are expected, the man is believed to have died from gunshot wounds.
It was announced that MyLondon died in his 30s at the scene. A crime scene remains on Croydon Road and a full forensic examination is under way.
“He was summoned by the Police Ambulance Service to a man who was destroyed at Croydon Road in Penge at the intersection of Tremaine Road at around 0220 hours on Sunday (July 12th).
“The officers joined where a man believed to have aged in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Investigators from the Specialist Crime investigate and await the results of the post-mortem examination, believing that the man died from gunshot wounds.
“At this stage, there were no arrests. Anyone with information that can help the police is asked to quote 101 140 CAD / 12 joules.”
