Antoine Webington Wiki – Antoine Webington Biography
Antoine Webington and Heather Janney are a couple at the center of the latest viral video featuring police arrests and allegations of brutality. Janney, a white woman, and Webington, a black man, were driving in their car with their children in Maryland when the police pulled them over. Janney was the person who crossed the speed limit. As the traffic stopped, officers asked Webington for his identity. When he refused to give it, they forcibly took him out of his car and arrested him.
Janney filmed the whole event and sent it to his TikTok. The videos have since gone viral.

At first, the car was pulled over as Janney “drove 45 [miles] in 30 minutes,” officials said in the video. Janney captured the whole event in a video and then posted it on TikTok. In the video, Webington at one point says to the camera: “If it goes to 45 at 30 then, a traffic ticket, how is it legal for them to get the identity of the passenger they can’t get, but did you set me up?”
At this point, three officers at the scene began working to force Webington out of the car. Webington repeatedly told officers that he wanted to get out of the car alone. Throughout the videos, Janney could be heard crying. At one point Webington told the officers that his child was in the car. The three officers eventually walked away a handcuffed Webington. According to TMZ, officers say they arrested Webington for resisting arrest and that there were two arrest warrants.
In a subsequent TikTok, Janney provided more information to the general public about Webington’s current situation, and about their relationship. She describes herself as a “stay at home mom” for their child, and clarified that Webington needs a lawyer now.
Here’s everything she said in the TikTok announcement:
- Gentlemen… This is an active case… Everything I will say can and will be seen against him in court. So I won’t go into detail until the case is over. I stayed at home mom, that’s why I don’t work. It turns out that Antoine needs a lawyer to properly resolve this case.
- This would be great if you want to help me pay for a lawyer. Something has to be done about it, Antoine cannot enter that courtroom alone. He needs a louder voice, a good lawyer.
- … This is racist !! There was no reason for that police officer to ask for his identity while I was driving. No search warrant ?! Even if the police visually determined that he was a warrant … I still believe there is no reason for them to take him from his family that way.
As some have previously pointed out on Twitter, Maryland is not a “stop and describe situation”, meaning that police officers do not allow police officers to claim a person’s identity or name unless they have a reason to believe that a person has committed a crime. . Here is a list of states with “stop and set” laws:
