Two men from Bossier City, Los Angeles, were arrested by the Louisiana Attorney General Cyber Crime Unit on charges of possession of pornography involving children under 13 and under 13. The US Representative for the 4th Congressional District was defeated last November. According to the Bossier Now report, 34-year-old Gibson was accused of possessing four child pornography involving children under the age of 13, and one person being on the run. The arrest was made after a joint investigation was conducted by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the United States Air Force Special Investigation Agency, the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Bureau, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Bureau and the Bossier City Marshall Office.
Following Gibson’s arrest, Attorney General Jeff Landry tweeted: “We will continue to do everything we can to protect the Louisiana children. #Lalege #lagov” Landry said Thursday, “Our office is committed to using every tool we have. To protect Louisiana’s children. 30-year-old Jared Kutz, along with Gibson, was also arrested. Kutz was charged with two pornography crimes involving children under the age of 13. Both men were released on bail. Further arrests were made by the Louisiana Attorney General’s Cyber Crime Unit. Andrew Parks, 38, from Bossier City was arrested and charged with 10 pornography involving those under 13. Later, 36-year-old Steven Green was arrested and charged with two pornography and a crime involving minors under 13. Pornography involving minors over the age of 13.
After these arrests, Landry said, “Such heinous crimes against children who harm their victims for life should not be tolerated in Louisiana. My office and I will continue to do everything we can legally to find and arrest child hunters.”
