The responding officers quickly believed they had found the suspect dead at the facility. Soon they were looking for a modest Indianapolis home attached to it.
The suspect’s home stands “near 10th Street and I-465 on the far east side of Indianapolis,” according to the WTHR. Authorities were at the scene, carrying computer equipment and other boxes outside the home.
“It just shows you never know who is across the street and who lives in your neighborhood,” a neighbor told the TV station.
“Looks like there’s a suspect inside. There’s a gunshot wound in the head. It looks like he’s got a gunshot wound here,” said an officer in voice. “Unless there’s someone else outside, this will be our suspect here.” They also found two people in the parking lot and one person in the office.
Cook said, “IMPD detectives are working with Indiana State Police detectives, collecting information and interviewing not only those who were on the scene, but also those who went to the district hospitals for medical treatment.… Very sad. And many are trying to face it because it’s a sight that no one should see. ”
