Casey Garcia Wiki – Casey Garcia Bio

Casey Garcia is a Texas mom who says she posed as a 7th grade girl at her school to expose security threats in YouTube videos. The action led to his arrest, as El Paso County Jail records show.

Garcia posted three videos on YouTube, including a video documenting her experience posing as her 13-year-old daughter, a video explaining why she did it, and a video documenting her arrest. While Garcia did not name the school in her videos, the El Paso Times reported that the 30-year-old mother posed as her daughter in the San Elizario Independent School District. Officials at the school informed the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office that Garcia posed as her daughter at the school on Tuesday, June 2, 2021, the newspaper reported.

“I’m proving that it doesn’t matter in all school systems, private school, public school. We have a problem. There have been so many mass shootings in schools,” Garcia said in the video.

Casey Garcia Criminal History

Garcia’s El Paso County Jail records show she was a small woman, 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 105 pounds. His height may have made it easier for him to get past his youth, especially when wearing a mask he says he wears most of the day in his YouTube video.

According to prison records, Garcia was charged with falsifying government records and criminal trespassing. The total bond for the two charges is set at $7,500. He was bailed and released, she. She went to jail on Friday, June 4, 2021, and was released later that day.

Law enforcement said in the video that Garcia was arrested, he was arrested on a traffic order. She told them she had never been arrested before and asked what they should do, she said repeatedly that she did not resist arrest. She then asked who had sent them to arrest her and if they had seen the YouTube video.

Caught Her at the End

Garcia documented her experience at school with a 6-minute video showing her transformation from 30-year-old mother to middle school student, explaining why she was acting like her daughter, and showing her being arrested. The YouTube video, “I’m going to school as my 13-year-old daughter,” has been watched nearly 283,000 times four days after it was posted.
“It scares me that the teachers didn’t notice, this would never have happened when I was in school,” one person wrote in the comments. “All the teachers knew each and every one of their students. This woman went unnoticed by adults for a whole day, if children could spot the differences between her and her daughter, adults should too!”

Garcia opened the video of her daughter filming herself in a Spider-Man hoodie, tight jeans and mask outfit. She also said that she uses self-tanning lotion and dyes her hair to better emulate her daughter. She entered the school and said “hello” to the staff, her voice trembling as she walked in. She later said she disappeared in the school building, she said.
“Oh my god. I’m going to get so caught up. I’m actually really scared now,” he said in the video.

During the school day, several people spoke to him, including a coach and other students asking who he was. One student said she knew Garcia wasn’t her daughter Julie because Julie was taller.
In the video, Garcia said it was discovered at the end of the day and sent to the principal’s office.

In the video, Garcia said, “Why did I pose like my 13-year-old daughter? A raw but true answer that her daughter attended all seven semesters of her school the day before she was caught.

“I think what broke the deal was actually going in and pretending to be a seventh grader. I mean, I’m not a spring chicken, but it wasn’t hard. And I did all seven classes, the last teacher was a woman, and she said, ‘Julie, can you stay after class?’ “He looked at me and said, ‘You’re not Julie,'” said Casey.

“No I’m not,” she replied.

“I took off my mask, I took off my glasses, and I said, ‘No, I’m not Julie.’ I’m Julie’s mother,” Garcia said.

Garcia said the teacher was “confused” and asked why he was doing this. He said it was “for a social experiment”.

He said he thought removing his mask for lunch would “break the deal” but was not caught.

She was tense all day, having trouble breathing and feeling nauseous, she said.

“I stayed because look, no one noticed I was there. That’s a problem,” she said.

Garcia Commended Her Daughters’ Teachers

Garcia did not blame her daughter’s teachers or any staff in the school district in her YouTube videos. She apologized to the school multiple times and refused to say which school she went to as a fake student in the video. However, safety issues are common in school districts, she said.

“I didn’t do this for any purpose other than to prove a point,” she said.

“I’m sorry it has to be a specific school district,” she continued. “I’m so sorry. They’re all great people. The manager is the best person I’ve ever met and I’m sorry that you were that person.”

She later said she thought if others would agree, they would understand.

“I bet someone else could do it,” she says in the video. “Whether you agree with me or not, that’s why I did it.”

Garcia Said She Thinks She Proved Her Point

Garcia said she wanted to end violence in schools. Metal detectors are necessary and backpacks are not, he said. Garcia appealed to her critics and said that people should be more concerned about the issues she was trying to highlight, like shooting at school.

“Are you more concerned as a parent that I’m sitting next to your child, or do we really want to wait for the next person to overdo the Second Amendment?” said.

He said that if his actions make a difference, it’s all worth it.

“This has gone too far and my honesty definitely comes into play so that might be why… God gave me a strong personality for a reason. Here it is,” he said.

“I have exposed the dangers of our schools and I am trying to protect my children and you,” he continued. “If you want to come after me for this, there’s nothing more I can say.”
