Crystal Marie Sawyer Wiki – Crystal Marie Sawyer Bio
35-year-old Matthew James Markcrow and his girlfriend Crystal Marie Sawyer, 23, appeared before the Brisbane Court of Detention on Friday allegedly uncovering evidence supporting “sexual slavery and organized prostitution” during raids on Queensland properties this week.
Mr. Markcrow faces 10 crimes, including three charges against illegal prostitution, making records against privacy, and violating an order on electronic information.

Matthew James Markcrow also faces a Commonwealth charge of running a business involving the sexual slavery of a girl under 18 between March 2019 and August 2019.
Her partner, Ms. Sawyer, 23, is accused of violating an electronic information order and once engaged in illegal prostitution.
Police alleged that some women aged 17-24 were given stupid drugs, stigmatized with tattoos and subjected to sexual slavery.
It is also claimed that women are subjected to controlled living, financial and working conditions.
On Facebook, Mr. Markcrow posted photos of tattoos that read “Matt M’s Feature” that appear to be stamped on different women.
In the comments below his photo, he said that he was allegedly his “future lover” and “if he knew all the names, it would look more like a parchment.”
Mr. Markcrow and Mrs. Sawyer were arrested after police raided properties in Mount Gravatt East and South Brisbane on Thursday.
It was alleged that the sexual acts were discovered by drugs and their records by officers.
While Mr. Markcrow was taken into custody, Ms. Sawyer was released on bail despite allegations that the police “exercised control” over women and worried that she might run the business in the absence of her boyfriend.
Police attorney Sergeant Mark Hughes told the court that Ms. Sawyer was at the address with the women during one of the police searches.
“During the search warrant, Sawyer told the other girls he was ‘like a mother,'” Sergeant Hughes said.
“Police observed during the search that the other girls were following Sawyer’s lead… they showed a degree of control over the other girls.”
The court heard that Ms. Sawyer had refused to give the password to a phone and laptop seized by the police.
Sergeant Hughes told the court that Ms Sawyer and Mr Markcrow were in an affair and that he would “take care of everything” when he saw him at the guardhouse.
But defense attorney Lily Berkeley said there was no concrete evidence that Ms. Sawyer was involved, and that the charges were made “a little too early.”
She said her client could comply with strict bail requirements, including an order not to contact any witnesses.
Judge Stephen Courtney said the charges against Mr. Mackrow were “of a particularly bad taste,” but that they should focus on Mrs. Sawyer’s accusations and offenses before the court.
She was released on bail on the condition of not contacting witnesses and reporting to the police twice a week.
Detective Inspector Juliet Hancock told the Prostitution Enforcement Task Force that he received a tip late last year.
“This investigation is still ongoing,” she said.
Hancock said the police were investigating whether there were any other alleged victims and encouraged anyone with more information to come forward.
Mr. Markcrow was arrested on an extradition order and will appear in court again on 24 February.
