According to Sgt, Morgan Hill police were called to a “terrible” scene in a house close to the 16000 Rustling Oak Court block. Bill Norman. Police officers said that he was able to arrest the suspect without forcing him and called for medical help for the female victim and the suspect. The officers then placed another victim across the street, and one man suffered multiple knife injuries. Emergency medical personnel came and the woman died on the spot. The male victim was taken to a hospital with a helicopter that had life-threatening wounds on his head and upper body.
The preliminary investigation found that there was a discomfort between the host and his adult son, and that his son was suspicious, leaving both victims. The suspect was identified as 25-year-old Dane Cleeton. He was arrested and charged with murder charges at the Santa Clara County Main Prison, attempting to kill and trying to attack with a deadly weapon.
