According to TMZ, Regis died after suffering a heart attack at his home in New York. He was struggling with heart disease for some time – even if angioplasty was done in the 90s, we are not talking about a triple bypass surgery in 2007. Until last year Regis had said he felt relatively healthy in retirement.
