On Sunday, July 5, a nigga, surrounded by a bike and starting to shout, said, “Social distance! Nobody wears a mask! ”Then the restaurant goers told him to go back and go to him. Jamie Atlig, a local bar owner, one of the men sitting nearby, stood up as if he had fought. Krieger and another woman ran to position themselves among them.

According to Krieger, while the man on the bike was shouting about “MAGA concession”, Atlig “Trump 2020!” Yell. That’s when Atlig pulled a gun, and Krieger said that he saw the Black man frozen in sight, and then pulled the bicycle lock in self-defense.
“People were screaming, ‘He has a gun!‘” she said. “And I was screaming, ‘He has a bike lock!‘” In seconds, Atlig, owner of Infusion Lounge nearby, had put away his gun. And the other man, who Krieger didn’t know, picked up his bike and rode off.
Referred all Questions to His Attorney
Atlig did not comment on the incident. By directing all questions to his deputy, Robert Gamburg, he confirmed that the passerby was his client, seen in the video shot by the passerby. Gamburg said the pedestrians “faced” with the guests in the hall and that “he was busy with threatening behavior, threatening behavior.”
“Mr. Atlig has a firearm license. There is a wide range of firearm training. A business owner and threatened,” said Gamburg. “A person reached from behind for an object, Mr. Atlig exposed his licensed firearm, neutralized the situation and he sat down again. ”

He had the right to yell at us completely – and if I hadn’t been there, Black people were shot that way, and then it was claimed that he had a bicycle lock and people thought it was a weapon. But let’s be clear: the bike lock was never pulled out [until the weapon was out]. ”
