Jennifer Eckhart Wiki – Jennifer Eckhart Biography

Jennifer Eckhart, a former associate producer on Fox Business Network, is a co-plaintiff in the suit. The most serious claim pertains to Eckhart’s allegation that she was raped by former White House chief correspondent Ed Henry, who earlier this month was fired by Fox News as a result of the charge.

A Fox News live personality and producer Jennifer Eckhart accused the network’s former top journalists, Ed Henry, of raping a new case.

Jennifer Eckhart Rape Case

30-year-old Eckhart accuses Henry, 48, of rape and forced sex, in a case filed at the United States District Court in New York on July 20. Cathy Areu, another Fox News person, was named plaintiff in the case. Areu accuses various Fox News personalities, including Sean Hannity, with sexual harassment. Both are represented in the case by Michael Willemin of Wigdor LLP.

“On July 1, 2020, Fox News disclosed to the public that it had terminated Mr. Henry based on the findings of an internal investigation, and purported to take credit for acting appropriately,” states the complaint. “However, nothing could be further from the truth. In reality, Fox News knew that Mr. Henry had engaged in sexual misconduct as far back as early 2017. At that time, when Fox News was conducting a company-wide investigation into issues of sexual harassment, multiple women came forward to complain that Mr. Henry had engaged in sexually inappropriate conduct towards them.”

Fox News now faces a sex trafficking claim as a result of Eckhart’s allegation. The rape allegedly happened in 2017 in a hotel room after the two had met for drinks. Two years earlier, according to the complaint, Henry had romantically pursued her, forced a kiss on her, convince her to have sex by holding her career over her head, and months later assaulted her in Fox News’ New York offices. (Henry couldn’t immediately be reached for a comment.)

A bombshell lawsuit filed by two women Monday accused former Fox News chief national correspondent Ed Henry of raping one of them, and says that the network’s star anchor Sean Hannity once offered $100 to staffers to “date” another woman who accuses Henry of sexual harassment.

The federal suit says that in addition to Henry, plaintiff Cathy Areu was sexually harassed by multiple other men at Fox News, including Hannity, the host Tucker Carlson, journalist Howard Kurtz and Gianno Caldwell.

The other plaintiff, Areu’s fellow former Fox News employee Jennifer Eckhart, claims that Henry raped her, in addition to committing other sexual misconduct against her.
