Jocelyn Benson Wiki – Jocelyn Benson Biography
Michigan Foreign Minister said he and his family were harassed this weekend over the results of the 2020 presidential election.
“While my four-year-old son and I were finishing up decorating the house for Christmas on Saturday night, while I was about to sit down and watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas, dozens of gunmen stood in front of my house, chanting curses and chants. Jocelyn Benson (D) said Sunday night, in the dark of the night. “I have always been an energetic advocate for the right and importance of peaceful protests as stated in the United States Constitution, but a line was crossed when the meetings were held to intimidate public officials who took their oath. They served as solemnly elected officials. ”
The individuals gathered outside my home targeted me as Michigan’s Chief Election officer. But their threats were actually aimed at the 5.5million Michigan citizens who voted in this fall’s election, seeking to overturn their will. They will not succeed in doing so. President-elect Joe Biden defeated incumbent Donald Trump in the 2020 election. Standing by Trump in 2016, Michigan appeared before the challenger and gave him an unremarkable vote on 16 Election Boards. Trump does not admit he has lost, he simply repeats the unsubstantiated voter fraud allegations and sends his lawyers to court battles with no consequences so far.
Benson pointed out painfully to the ongoing dispute.
“Through clearly false press releases, purely political legislative hearings, bogus legal claims, and so-called” sworn statements “that do not claim clear or convincing evidence of falsehood, those dissatisfied with the results of this election pursued an unprecedented, dangerous and terrifying campaign in the safest state in our history. “to erode public confidence in the results of one of the accessible and transparent elections.”
Benson described requests outside of his home as “open, loud, and threatening.”

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel (D) and Wayne County Attorney Kym L. Worthy (D) jointly criticized the show as “mocking” and intimidating Benson’s family and neighbors.
“They shouted baseless conspiracy theories about election, and in videos posted on social media, you could hear at least one person shouting” you are a killer “from within the hearing of their child’s bedroom. This gang-like behavior is an insult to basic morals and morals.”
Before the elections, several members of the so-called “militia” group were accused of conspiring to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D).
