Mr. Groggs has been part of the trio since 2012, after meeting Ritchie’s another member Nathaniel Ritchie while working at Ritchie’s mother’s Vans shoe store.
Groggs met rapper Ritchie With T in the Vans store where Rapggs works and is owned by Ritchie’s mother. The couple eventually found her approach to hip-hop production, Corey Corey, a young producer who helped push the group into their signature voices. The trio officialized themselves as Injury Reserve in 2013. Without a rap scene in their hometown, he developed the Injury Reserve and first attracted a local audience with punk and indie actions at shows on the campus of Arizona State University.

The couple tied to the music, Groggs acted as a mentor, as the two used to be. The Injury Reserve occurred when they met awesome and experimental young producer Parker Corey through a mutual friend. They found their own niche in Arizona without a rap scene they would talk about at that time.
Injury Reserve released its first mixtape “Live from the Dentist Office” recorded in a real dentist office in 2015. The second mixtape ‘Floss’ came a year later. 2019 marked the release of their official unnamed debut album with the features of JPEGMAFIA, DRAM, Freddie Gibbs, and more.
The last appearance recorded as part of Groggs’ Injury Reserve was a feature in “Robert”, the latest single from the London duo Jockstrap, “Wicked City.”

Injury Reserve has announced the death and painful respect for friends on Twitter but did not reveal the cause of death.
The group confirmed its death on June 29, in a Twitter post today (July 1) and a photo of the late MC.

The Injury Reserve shared a GoFundMe page for Groggs’ family, who said he was alive by his partner Anna and four children Joey, Jayden, Toph and Ari.
“The heart of Groggs touched everyone he met. He will live through his family, supporters and communities where he is separate. ”
At the time of writing, GoFundMe raised $ 42,074 of the $ 75,000 target. All donations to the Fund will be for family support and services. No cause of death was released.
