Christian Osmond, born Christian Scott Osmond is an actor, known for The New Leave It to Beaver (1983) according to IMDB. He is also best known for being the son of Ken Osmond, an American actor and police officer famous for playing the clever Eddie Haskell in the classic 1950s family television series “Leave It To Beaver.” His father reportedly died on May 18, 2020 at the age of 76.

Christian Osmond graduated from the University of Wisconsin College of Veterinary Medicine. After earning his doctorate in veterinary medicine, he completed an internship in medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Medicine and Surgery Group in Ventura, California. He then completed his three-year residency in small animal surgery at North Carolina State University. Dr. Osmond is the author of several scientific articles and is a clinical professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Western University of Health Sciences.

The actor died on Monday, May 18th, 2020 at his home in Los Angeles, surrounded by loved ones and family. He is survived by his wife, Sandra, and two sons, Christian and Eric.

Ken started his acting career when he was only 9 years old, but he had his big break in 1957 when he was cast as Eddie Haskell in “Beaver” alongside Jerry Mathers, who played the main character. Following his retirement from the police force, Osmond managed rental properties in Los Angeles County and made occasional personal appearances at film festivals, collector shows, and nostalgia conventions.

On September 18, 2007, Osmond filed a class-action lawsuit against the Screen Actors Guild, alleging that SAG had collected $ 8 million in foreign waste for American actors but had not distributed it to the actors. In August 2011, Osmond began to appear as a famous spokesperson for San Jose aspirin. Osmond is co-author, along with Christopher J. Lynch, of the book Eddie: The Life and Times of America’s Preeminent Bad Boy, which was published in September 2014. The foreword was written by Jerry Mathers.
