Kerrion recently became the center of attention after posting a video on Instagram in which his father was heard throwing the N-word. According to Kerrion, she has been separated from her family for 13 years and has little contact with her father.
Kerrion posted the video on Instagram “That’s why I’m done. No father should talk to his children like that. If I have any problem, it’s because of this kind of treatment I’m dealing with behind closed doors. It’s hung on my face, no apology, no mercy, no effort. Stop telling me to go to my family. I don’t even know where they live. I don’t think I’ll ever trust my dad to be alone with him again. I didn’t want to do that. I probably won’t publish the whole recording because it’s a shame I even deal with it. This recording is new, not just from 2018 to clarify. I will learn from these experiences, live my life in peace and make beautiful works of art. ”During the conversation, Kirk can be heard saying“ I’ll break his neck (N-word) ” .
The video caused mixed reactions on social media when people learned that Kirk had thrown the N word at his son. “Kirk Franklin called his own son the n-word,” said a social media user. Period. No good gospel music can make me hear this. “Another said:” I shouldn’t be so surprised by Kirk Franklin’s swearing, but I am. ”

Kerrion Franklin is Kirk Franklins’ eldest son, along with his wife Tammy Collins. Kerrion was born in 1988. He is known for “Mike, Guy Who Takes Everything Too Literally” (2014), “Cartwheels and Backflips” (2015) and “Comedy Bit: Trash” (2014). Kerrion has three younger siblings including brother Kennedy Franklin, sisters Caziah Franklin and Carrington Franklin.
When Grammy-winning artist Kirk featured his son in the release of his 2005 album “Hero” in 2005, Kerrion was heard to give a spoken word fragment. Before this discussion, Kerrion said, “I am not allowed to have childhood photos of myself or my family. Some of the yaw [sic] complaints are very superficial.
