According to reports from several hip hop websites and friends, King Von was shot dead in front of an Atlanta, Georgia nightclub. They initially reported that his condition was critical, but now report that he is dead. While the authorities did not confirm the news, several friends now say that the talented Chicago rapper is actually dead.
DJ Akademiks tweeted: “With great sadness, I have to acknowledge King Von’s death. Fortunately, I spoke to his manager, who survived being shot and is currently recovering at the hospital. However, Von’s manager confirmed that Von was shot and failed. RIP King Von. ”
Did the Atlanta police kill King Von? DJ Akademiks says no, but adds that the police were engaged and the rapper was not armed. From the convoy I made with Von’s manager who survived the shooting, he says it was not the police who killed King Von. However, he said that the police engaged in clashes with other gunmen who were there. King Von was reported to be unarmed, ”he wrote.

DJ On Da Beat wrote on Instagram: “My heart can’t take it. No brother. Why you. Why bro. Please just FaceTime me brother. Why did they have to take you? See you again, this shit is not over. Not over. We’re still just getting started. RIP my best friend. The only nigga listening to me word for word since day 1, we sat in FaceTime for hours making songs together. Every bar had a meaning and every song was part of our soul. It made sense every moment, and you made me feel like a real producer. I love you bro @kingvonfrmdao. ”
