“To raise money for his honorable effort in honor of Lenin when he meets a wild Karen,” organizer Matt Cowan explains in the GoFundMe campaign, which eventually raised over $ 105,000.
KNSD shared a video last week where Cowan and his friend Will Collette handed the money over to Gutierrez in a silver briefcase.
“Thank you very much,” said Gutierrez, with more than 30,000 views on YouTube. “This is very surprising at the moment. I have not seen anything like this except for the movies.”
KGTV believes that Gilles has half the money, said on Tuesday.
“It was discrimination and everyone is doing well with it, and it makes this behavior possible and rewards,” he said in the news outlet.
Gilles, who previously told the KNSD that he is considering suing Cowan, added that he had contacted lawyers, but they all charge too much. KGTV said it hopes to raise money with its crowdfunding campaign. Gilles also claimed that he could not wear a mask because he experienced symptoms such as shortness of breath, dizziness, asthma and mask acne, according to KGTV. In addition to KGTV documents from the 2015 pelvic exam, he continued to show a note from a chiropractor stating that Gilles “had underlying breathing conditions that prevented wearing a mask.” Chiropractor refused to discuss Gilles with the news station.

“Meet lenen from Starbucks who refused to serve me cause I’m not wearing a mask. Next time I will wait for cops and bring a medical exemption,” she wrote in the now-deleted post.Generous readers opened their wallets to support the worker through GoFundMe, Lenin Gutierrez collected more than $ 105,400 “clues” for her.
Gilles told ABC affiliate KGTV that she is considering collecting half of these funds because she claims to have underlying health problems that medically exempted from mask duties.
“It was discrimination and everybody is OK with it and enabling and rewarding that behavior,” Gilles said.
“I get shortness of breath, dizziness and it messes with the heartbeat,” she told the station. “And I do have asthma as well, and I do get mask-acne. So there’s several things going on and not only that but it doesn’t even work.”
Gilles brought two documents to the exit to prove his exemption. A document was a pelvic examination in 2015 and “possible exophytic fibroid originating from the anterior wall of the uterus of 2.9 cm size” and “simple 2.5 cm left ovarian cyst” were reported.
The second was a handwritten note on letterhead from a local masseur, “There are underlying breathing conditions that prevent Amber from wearing a mask or wearing any face covering in any way. If you have any questions, please contact me. ”
Gilles asked not to name the chiropractor, and the practitioner refused to discuss Gilles when he reached away for clarification.
He advocated using a note from a masseur for a situation related to breathing because “They are dedicated to providing non-invasive personalized care and treatment. They are real doctors. ”
Gilles said he had no regrets for his task and started his own GoFundMe to raise money for legal fees if he decided to sue.
