The video was published under the identifier of @superduperedy on Twitter by Edy Pérez, who in his publication explained that they are a neighbor of the woman and the owner of the vehicle in the video. Perez writes, “Bruh, I hate racist people so much … I’m in Miami while this jerk in Los Angeles is fucking my car … all because she’s racist and doesn’t love us.” Since the clip was shared on Saturday, it has received more than 2.8 million views, 42,400 retweets, and 104,000 likes.

The clip begins by showing the woman, who is holding two hammers, hitting a parked vehicle along the sidewalk. Spectators only see the woman hit the car twice with the hammer; however, the exterior of the car is riddled with dents. After the woman stops hitting the car, she approaches the person taking the video (identified as Pérez’s sister) with hammers in her hand. During the video, the woman makes the following statements: “Get the shit out of this neighborhood” and “Go back to Mexico.” The video shows the “agitated” woman enraged after Perez told her they were on the phone with police only to have her appear moments later repeatedly hitting a trash container next to Perez’s lawn.

I don’t have full coverage insurance for my car so anything will help. She was arrested but later let go due to covid. Help fund me for repair or lawyer fees.”

By Saturday night, Perez had already raised over $7,480.
