A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office told DailyMail.com that the driver was seized as part of the theft investigation at 8.30 am on Friday. They said that Waters had initially pulled her car to the traffic stopping point and started ‘shouting at lawmakers’. The congressman was told to block traffic and to withdraw.
The spokesman said he was later released with a warning after refusing to sign an attribution for a possible violation.
The overturned man was found to have a metal pipe, but was released. The Waters spokesman was not immediately available when DailyMail.com reached to comment.
