According to court records obtained by The Herald, Lentz posted a video of himself in the Capitol building on Facebook. Lentz told the FBI that he spent nearly two hours in the Capitol and was not accused of any physical violence.

America spoke. “You can’t stop millions of people on the video,” says the FBI.

Of course we are not here to hurt any police. I love my kids in blue but this is too big for them. There’s no way they can prevent us, ”Lentz added, The Hill.

The FBI interviewed Lentz at his home Friday, admitting he entered the Capitol Building, according to the newspaper report. He told the FBI that he had traveled from Florida to Washington DC overnight to attend the “Stop Stealing” rally organized by former US president Donald Trump and arrived in the early hours of January 6th.

“Lentz did not believe that no one in the US Capitol was worried about trespassing, and there were no warning signs of intrusion,” the FBI said. “Despite the above, he said, ‘Of course you know you’re trespassing.'”

Earlier this month, the Pentagon announced its plan to tackle extremism within the ranks more aggressively after one in five people charged in the Capitol rebellion were reported to be members of the current or former military. A handful of current or former law enforcement officers were also arrested in connection with the building violation.

Lentz went to court through Zoom and paid a $ 25,000 bail. The next court date has been set from February 26th to Zoom in DC.
