Hoeltgen, born in Pat Schottenheimer, is best known as the wife of American football defender and coach Marty Schottenheimer, who has served as head coach for the National Football League (NFL) for 21 seasons. He died at the age of 77 in Charlotte, North Carolina, on February 8, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
