Supernaw released four studio albums: Red and Rio Grande (1993), Deep Thoughts from a Shallow Mind (1994), You Still Got Me (1995) and Fadin ‘Renegade (1999). Between 1993 and 1996, he listed 11 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts, including “I Don’t Call Him Daddy”, which became the number one single in late 1993.

During his college career he recorded 710 yards and 64 captures for 10 goals scoring, and in 2009 the first team won the entire Gulf South Conference, the second team the All Gulf South Conference in 2010, and the second team the All Great America Conference in 2011.
It was signed by Houston Texans on April 29, 2012, after being elected in the 2012 NFL Draft. Supernaw signed with Baltimore Ravens on May 19, 201. On November 11, 2014, the Kansas City Chiefs signed the Supernaw to their 53-man roster on the Baltimore Ravens training team. Tennessee Titans signed with him on June 2, 2015. Supernaw is now an avid golfer.

Doug Supernaw died on November 13 at the age of 60. He had cancer.
