Rachel Dawn Ruit is a 41-year-old Asheville woman whose racist video was attacked by a black teenager and attacked the woman in international news. According to police and witnesses, the Dawn Spirit of Terry’s Gap Road in Henderson County suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by the Asheville Fire Truck in West Asheville on July 13.

Jonathan Rowell, a witness, said he saw the accident on the eastern borders of the big street.
