Raysean White Wiki – Raysean White Biography
Raysean White, who shot more than 2.4 million views on Crump’s Twitter account alone, said he was across the street when he heard the women arguing. He saw Blake coming and put one of his sons into a vehicle. “The boy happily obliged, and Blake walked into a house after a woman,” he said.
White walked away and when he came back, he said the police were wrestling with Blake. “He doesn’t know what started the argument,” White said. He started filming what he called the middle and end of the controversy, saying that he was angry and traumatized by what he saw, and that he could not sleep on Sunday night.
“The police want everyone to know they are here to protect and serve, but you are constantly giving us reasons to not allow you to protect and serve – especially Black people -” White told CNN. “We don’t want you around because we are afraid of our lives. You’ve come to an incident to neutralize an argument and this Black man is shot. He shouldn’t go over it.”
Police union says there’s more to story
The police union representing the officers urged the public not to make a verdict until the state Justice Department has completed its investigation.
“As always, the currently circulating video cannot capture all the intricacies of a highly dynamic event. We ask you to withhold judgment until all the facts are known and disclosed,” said Pete Deates, president of the Kenosha Professional Police Association, president of the Kenosha Professional Police Association.
Representing Floyd’s family, Crump says in a tweet that the man left the scene after “breaking the fight between the two women.”
The police were called to respond to a domestic commotion officers, but it is unclear who called the 911 or what happened before the video recording started. In a police call, the officer says that Blake “shouldn’t be there” and took the complainant’s keys and refused to leave. The dispatcher then explains that the caller does not have any more details because the caller is “not cooperative”. The firing report of the sender comes about five minutes after the first report. According to Crump, the police had used a Taser on Blake before the fire.
It is not clear from the video whether either police opened fire or not. In the video clip, the second officer takes out his gun when gunfire is heard.
The criminal investigation division of the Wisconsin Department of Justice, which investigated the incident, said they were both on administrative leave. The department said that all officers cooperated. No officer was identified.
It was stated that the state agency aimed to submit a report to prosecutors within 30 days, adding that no further details were found.
Who was he threatening?
Governor Tony Evers said Blake, 29, was seriously injured at the time of the shooting.
“Tonight, Jacob Blake was shot from behind several times in the light of day,” Evers said in a statement. “While we don’t have all the details yet, what we do know for sure is that people in law enforcement are not the first Black man or person to be shot, wounded or brutally killed at the hands.”
Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes said, “The irony didn’t disappear in me because Jacob Blake was actually trying to alleviate a situation in his community, but the responding officer didn’t feel the need to do the same.”
Evers called for a special legislative session where he would ask lawmakers to consider a bill aimed at “increasing accountability and transparency in policing”, addressing the use of appropriate force, and banning dangerous policing.
He described Evers’ statement as “completely irresponsible and does not reflect hard-working members of law enforcement”.
After the clash, police said officers had helped before the injured man was taken to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.
