Reagan Hancock was a 22-year-old pregnant woman who was murdered at her home in New Boston, Texas and had her baby cut from her womb. Hancock was first spotted by his family in social media posts reported by the True Crime Society. Hancock, a married mother with a young daughter, was seven and a half months pregnant; According to the Texarkana Newspaper, neither she nor her baby survived the attack.
The newspaper reported that a woman was detained in Oklahoma. Social media reports about the incident suggest that Hancock does recognize the suspect, but that Heavy has yet to verify his identity.

Hancock was very public about her pregnancy by posting ultrasound photos on Facebook on March 31.

Hancock loved sharing photos with his daughter, based on the photos on his Facebook timeline. He posted pictures while in the hospital and even said, “He’s getting ready to push! Ready to see the Princess ”in 2017.
He also shared photos of his “BlueBRendlPit” dog, as well as photos from a wedding he uploaded on 13 October 2019.
A report in the McCurtain Gazette-News newspaper reported that the 22-year-old boy was “beaten, stabbed to death, and her baby cut from the womb”.
Hancock’s parents, Marcus and Jess Brookes, stated on Facebook that they were suffering from the loss of their daughter, “God please protect us from this pain.” In a different post, he told people that they were holding a ritual to celebrate his daughter, “Today we are hosting our friends and family at our home to celebrate the life of Reagan Hancocks, if you need the address, please message us I’ll send it to you.”
Suspect Is Accused of Fleeing the State of Texas
McCurtain Gazette-News reported that “the suspect is believed to have been abducted and escaped with the newborn who later died here” in McCurtain County, Oklahoma. This suspect is described as a 27-year-old woman from Simms, Texas.
The newspaper was speeding near the suspect DeKalb when he was stopped by a Texas soldier at 10pm Friday. He told her that “he just gave birth and the newborn baby in the car is not breathing.” The soldier tried to perform CPR but could not resuscitate the baby and called an ambulance. He was taken to the McCurtain Memorial, where “a doctor… very quickly realized that he was not giving birth.”
When reports arrive at 13:00. A woman was killed and her baby was taken to the hospital, the police arrested the suspect. The newspaper reported that while in custody, he “confessed to the murder and kidnapping, telling officers that his boyfriend was pregnant in February and that they even organized a gender disclosure party”.
The suspect has two children, aged six and 10, and told law enforcement that he did not know Hancock well. The newspaper said, “He told the officers that he only knew the deceased pregnant woman by name and thought they were the same age.”
In addition to local murder charges, the suspect may also file federal charges as he is accused of crossing state borders with the baby.
