Officers from the Rocklin Police Department reported the death of 69-year-old Robert Turner, while he was released on Sunday after being charged with the battery, which initially resulted in serious bodily injury.

Police said on Sunday that the department was called to the scene between noon and 13:00, after reports of physical fighting, between noon and 13:00.

They soon learned that the victim had been “badly injured” in the bickering. Ketner was taken to a local hospital on Wednesday and removed from life support.
