He telephoned to congratulate President Laizer for finding him alive on television. “It proves the benefit of these small-scale miners and the richness of Tanzania,” said mineral minister Doto Biteko. He said he would cut one of his cows to celebrate after Tanzania Bank bought the precious stones. Laizer also plans to invest in Manyara’s community in the Simanjiro region.
“I want to build a shopping mall and a school. I want to build this school near my home. There are many poor people around here who can’t afford to take their children to school. I am not educated but I like things to run in a professional way. So I would like my children to run the business professionally.”
He said that this will not change his lifestyle and that he plans to continue looking after 2,000 cows and does not need to take any additional measures despite his newly found wealth.
