Federal officials said a person accused of participating in riots in the US Capitol last month was arrested at Orlando International Airport on Wednesday.

The judge said the case would likely be transferred to D.C. Meanwhile, the judge ordered Maldonado to be released with a $ 25,000 application bond, hand over his gun, his passport, and not to leave Florida’s Central District outside of court proceedings.
The FBI said it had tracked down Maldonado after several people recognized him while watching the news about the riots. One of them contacted the FBI and another told the FBI that they were getting video of Maldonado, which he recorded in the Capitol riot.
The FBI said it cross-referenced this information with Maldonado’s driver’s license, social media photos, and surveillance footage of the US Capitol police.
On January 6, hundreds of pro-Trump supporters raided the Capitol as Congress met to confirm Joe Biden’s victory in the presidential race.
Several other Central Florida residents have been charged in connection with the riots, including Joseph Biggs and Sanford firefighter, who is reported to be one of the leaders of the Proud Boys organization.
