Sydney Sutherland is a 25-year-old Arkansas resident who disappeared while jogging on August 19th.
Jackson County officials announced the disappearance of Sutherland on 20 August and announced that he was last seen running near Highway 18 “between Newport and Grubbs” around 2.30 pm. He weighs 103 pounds, according to County Emergency Management’s Facebook page.
Fox16.com officials reported that Sutherland went to a gym in the city of Jonesboro on Wednesday, citing officials.
Exit, inspectors are now looking at the facility’s surveillance video for possible clues.
Jackson County Sheriff David Lucas confirmed at a press conference Thursday that he saw a UPS driver Sutherland running near County Road 41 on the evening of August 19, according to WMC-TV.
The sheriff’s office reported that AT&T received several pings from Sutherland’s phone line of sight, Fox16.com reported. Lucas said the 25-year-old kept his phone and apple watch with him.
Fox16.com continued that law enforcement agencies are currently trying to use potential information on the clock.
WMC-TV said that between Sutherland’s sight and location pings, they focused their research on the area of the loop that “normally walks” between County Road 41, 42, 43 and Highway 18.
Authorities have since located Sutherland’s cell phone, WMC TV reported.
The station added that law officials found the cellular device about a quarter mile from his home and Highway 67 highway.
Sutherland lives with her boyfriend on Highway 18 between Newport and Grubbs, Lucas stated to Fox16.com.
The sheriff announced that there were no signs of any trouble between the couple, the outlet reported.
Sutherland, who is also a nurse, often walks or runs in the area, according to Fox16.com and the 25-year-old Facebook page.
