Tom Peter Brazier, owner, and operator of Tiny Tom Donuts hoped to celebrate six decades of his beloved donut company at CNE. Brazier, a beloved figure in Toronto, died Tuesday at the age of 73.
“It’s with great sadness that we share the passing of a beloved figure in the City of Toronto,” a statement on the Tiny Tom Donuts Facebook page said Wednesday. “Tom was beloved by all who were blessed to know him.”
Brazier had been dealing with numerous health problems for the past few years and died Tuesday afternoon, the family told CTV News Toronto. Bite-sized fried donuts have been served at CNE for 60 years and in Canada’s Wonderland for 27 years. According to the statement, the Brazier family will continue to carry his legacy and “looks forward to serving his famous Tiny Tom Donuts again.”

The brand shared the news on social media on Wednesday morning and said that the Brazier family will carry on his legacy.
