I am on my way to the hospital. Pray warriors needed. I don’t know his condition.”

“All hands are 22 and Gilligan is on deck,” said Nagdy’s last Facebook post, shortly before midnight. This caused some confusion about the address and what happened to an unrelated cop who was shot dead in Louisville a few hours ago. However, a local live broadcaster, who was at the hospital where a seizure broke out, said the Gilligan shoot was not about Nagdy. This matches with other reports on social media.

This live broadcast by Riotheart showed the protesters outside of Louisville hospital. “Very few details about the situation,” he said. “Earlier this evening, Travis, one of the organizers of the local protests in Louisville, Kentucky, was shot. There are no details about who was responsible for the shooting. I do not have full details about his condition either. I hear many rumors going in different directions. “He said that the conflict occurred at Crittenden.

Live Streamer Riotheart Posted Photos of a Vigil for Nagdy Outside the Hospital

Riotheart, who has thousands of followers on Facebook, later posted photos of a vigil outside the hospital, which shows people hugging in grief. “Protesters and family gather to mourn the loss of organizer Travis Nagdy,” he wrote in the caption.

Shameka L. Parrish-Wright, political candidate for JCPS Region 4 and Operations Manager of The Bail Project, wrote on Facebook: “Have you met a born leader? I got it and was shot 6 months later. # Day180 challenging # JusticeforBreonnaTaylor✊🏾 at # InjusticeSquarePark. We lost someone great today! All this time, I and we have been here for our teenagers like Travis. We became a family and everything that comes with it! This is a terrible loss, so while I can do this I’m posting now. Young beautiful black man to rest in peace.

According to WHAS11, a man was shot dead on the 2100 block of Crittenden Drive near Bradley Boulevard. It was announced that he died in the hospital. The clash occurred around 12:30 pm on 23 November. The murder unit was called to the scene. The story does not name the man.

The Courier Journal reported that a person died in that place after the police were found shot dead. Police responded to a gunfight report shortly before 12:30. According to the newspaper, it is believed that the attack was not related to the police shooting. It also does not write the victim’s name.

Nagdy’s death was not confirmed by the authorities. But social media has been overwhelmed with reports that Nagy died in the hospital after being shot or fought for his life. The reports filled in the comment headers and were shared by other live broadcasters, even prompting a woman who said she was a sister to inquire about Nagdy’s own comment title.

Nagdy used the name cairo_egypt413 on Instagram. A live stream from Louisville initially warned people not to spread “false information” about him.

Over the years, Nagdy has been featured in different news articles. In October 2020, a WKLY.com article said, “People like Travis Nagdy have used ballots for the first time after their voting rights were returned following a non-violent criminal charge.”

A Police Shooting Death Sunday Night Is Unrelated to the Crittenden Shooting

We wrote to the Louisville police to ask if Nagdy was dead, but we haven’t received a response yet. They wrote on Facebook, “The ongoing murder investigation at Crittenden Dr. and the incident in Gilligan (Portland District) are separate, unrelated events.”

Never Stop Media LLC wrote on Facebook: “There are reports that Travis Nagdy – Lousiville Kentucky Activist was shot and killed. He was in this zone / intersection according to his last post on his Facebook Page. This is where the police officer was shot. ”

However, another person wrote on the subject: “This was not the Travis thing, according to other sources.” Another person said, “There were 2 separate shots in Louisville tonight. I don’t know the situation Travis was in the hospital after 12 am.” It appears from multiple accounts on social media that the police firing was not related to Nagdy.

Here is another live stream from the chaotic night in Louisville.
According to WHAS11, on Sunday night, November 22nd, a man was killed “during a traffic stop in the Portland neighborhood”. The story does not name the man. This is the police attack, which is believed to have nothing to do with Nagdy’s death.

Yvette Gentry, LMPD’s Interim Chief, told the station at around 10:30 pm. On 22 November, a police officer seized a suspected stolen car in the 2100 block of Gilligan Street.

The station says the police “fired his gun and shot a man in the car” while the traffic was stopped. The man died in the hospital.

A white woman in the car escaped from the scene. The identity of the officer could not be determined.

At the press conference, the chief said, “Around 22:30 pm. Tonight … an officer stopped traffic in a stolen car.”
During the stop, he said, “The officer dropped his gun, it crashed into one of the passengers in the car.” Unfortunately, he succumbed to his wounds.

The officer was transferred with wounds not related to shooting. The Kentucky State Police is leading the investigation. He said there are body camera images of the incident. The identity of the person shot by the police is not yet known.
