Savage was shot while driving a car on Evans Street near 81st street at 11:00 local time on June 19. The report says that the rapper was hit on the neck and shoulders. After being shot, Savage crashed into three parked cars. Chicago Sun-Times reported that the shooting was taking place. Savage was leaving his girlfriend when he was shot. Emergency departments brought Savage to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died. The CBS report said the witnesses saw the police see a “white SUV, possibly a Mazda” around the area where the fire took place. The incident is being investigated by Alan 2 detectives. There is no one in police custody at the time of writing.
