Sources say Farrakhan Muhammed, a 31-year-old CD dealer, was allegedly a hitman in Saturday’s horror after the strange chain of events the police directed against his brother.

Law enforcement told The Post on Sunday that the suspect was targeting his brother when he shot three innocent people in Times Square, and the brother later dropped him his penny.

Later, when two sergeants from the Manhattan Southern Detective Bureau were stabbed to death during the night in a West 31st Street one-man hotel, they saw a man hanging around who looked almost identical to the supposed hitman, even down to his clothes, sources. I said.

Three victims were recovering on Sunday, and each was injured by a non-life-threatening bullet. Among the injured were a 4-year-old girl from Brooklyn, a 43-year-old woman from New Jersey, and a 23-year-old woman who visited the city for Mother’s Day.

Wendy Magrinat was in the town of Rhode Island with her husband and 2-year-old child when she was the last victim of gun violence in New York. Magrinat said she heard a scuffle from nearby and then understood that she was shot.
