Why was FaZe Clan’s Cizzorz and Neymar banned on Twitch?

Faze Clan’s Cizzorz has been banned by the Twitch streaming platform and nobody has any idea why. In the past few months, Twitch streamers have seen more bans based on DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright) violations, and fans wondered if Faze Cizzorz was the last addition to this list.

Under the DMCA rule, licensed music can only be played in a stream if explicit permission from record labels is available. As of now, there has been no clear explanation as to why Faze Cizzorz has been banned.

On November 10, Cizzorz took him to Twitter to also notify his followers of the ban, and wrote “Banned on Twitch” when fans began to speculate about the possible reason behind the ban.
Currently, Brazilian soccer star Neymar Jr has also been banned from Twitch for unknown reasons. He joined the streaming platform just over a month ago. Last week, Rocket League pro player and broadcaster Mariano “SquishyMuffinz” Arruda was banned from Twitch for violating the DMCA for which she had some old clips containing licensed music.

Fans are expressing their disappointment, stating that they have fewer reasons to visit Twitch to ban their favorite players. A Twitter user wrote: “Hey guys, I’m lazy with Twitch bans because every time I blink there is another FaZe Cizzorz and now Neymar has been the last two today”

“They banned you and Neymar on the same day. They got out of control.” One user said, “So far, neymar, cizzorz are the only big ones affected. There will be more” Another one, “FREE MANS CIZZORZ,” Wrote

Since most copyright-related bans are not permanent, there is a chance that the FaZe Clan publisher will return to the platform soon. Cizzorz joined FaZe Clan, known as the world’s most popular professional gaming and esports organization, in 2018 after gaining popularity as one of the best Fortnite publishers in the golden age of battle royale.

The broadcaster also gained over 4.35 million subscribers in 2020, making it one of the most-watched Fortnite players. While he was most famous through Fortnite, recently Cizzorz has begun experimenting with Minecraft, Call of Duty Zombies, Dead Ops Arcade, and more. In Fortnite, Cizzorz is famous for its “Death Run” challenges, where it will create extremely tough challenges for players and receive a reward from whoever completes the first.

Currently, the FaZe clan has more than 70 professional broadcasters. Although the organization debuted as the Call of Duty clan in 2010, it has now expanded to all the main games, including Fortnite, CSGO and PUBG, to Valorant, Rainbow Six Siege, and FIFA. While gaming has become a mainstream profession, the FaZe Clan remains the dominant organization for the gaming industry.
